Recruitment for the post of “Manager (Civil)”

Company Profile:
The DMIC Haryana Global City Project Limited is formed as a Joint Venture between DMIC
Project Implementation Trust Fund and the Government of Haryana represented by Haryana
State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC), aims at
undertake, formulate, design, and develop Global City Projects in the state of Haryana.
The Global City Project is to be planned with Financial/ Business Centre as an integral part and
growth driver for the city. The city would thrive on world class infrastructure backbone built on
smart city concept by integrating water, power, and connectivity to integration of IT services in
managing various public utilities of the area. The city would not only add to the economy of the
state but also help in generating skilled development. The feasibility report and master plan for
developing a Global City at Garhi-Harsaru in Gurgaon District in Haryana Sub region of DMIC
of about 1100 acres has already been finalized. This would be developed as a Model Future City
taking into account the best international practices for development, implementation,
maintenance and management.
Position Objective:
The job requires multifunctional approach and co-ordination with various State Governments,
& their nodal agencies and requires supervision at various levels from projects planning to
implementation. This job will also require close interaction with different Ministries of
Government of India from time to time.
Position Accountabilities:
 Reviewing and Technical Appraisal of feasibility studies/ engineering studies/ DPR’s
and provide necessary inputs related to all aspects of infrastructure planning,
engineering design, implementation strategy and costing.
 Facilitate timely completion of Project through planning and monitoring.
 Preparing and monitoring prestart estimates, cost to complete and MIS reports.
 Timely selection and development of cost effective quality vendors.
 Study, Analyze & execute works as per drawings, Specifications & Standards and ensure
Quality, efficiency & cost controlling.
 Regular liaisoning and project coordination on behalf of the Company with various
stakeholders including consultants, Central and State Government departments,
funding agencies, contractors to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
 Preparation of concept papers, detailed technical notes/memos, presentations to be
made to concerned stakeholders.
 Preparation of the technical aspects of contractual documents, framing the engineering
and technical terms of references and conducting bid process for the selection of
consultants and/or contractors.
Position Specification:
 Minimum Requirements:
 Nationality: Candidate from Indian nationality only.
 Preferable Age: Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age and must be in good
health and sound mind.
 Academic & Professional Qualification:
 Should be Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with good
academic record.
 Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in preparation of DPR/
Design/ Implementation/ Supervision of large infrastructure projects.
 Knowledge and Skills
 Should possess strong knowledge of design/planning/ supervision of large
infrastructure projects
 Familiarity with IS codes and standards, international codes
 Ability to carry out discussions with various Central and State Governments
Departments
 Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
 Knowledge of the sector and factor directly / indirectly influencing it.
 Ability to contribute to knowledge management systems and procedures.
 Decision making ability.
 Analytical ability.
 Ability to foster collaborative work environment in a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic
environment.
 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with wide range of
constituencies in a diverse community.
 Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
 Adequate knowledge of Computers & IT Tools in Planning, Design, Execution &
Monitoring of Infrastructure Projects.
SELECTION PROCESS:
 The qualified incumbent may be taken under the payroll of “DMIC Haryana Global City
Project Limited”.
 The age of superannuation shall be 60 years. Joining will be immediately after selection.
 He/ She shall report to the Board of the M/s DMIC Haryana Global City Project Limited.
 A Selection Committee will be constituted to short list, interview and recommend the
candidate.
JOB LOCATION: Position is currently based in Chandigarh Panchkula HR, but may require
travel to other places.
EMOLUMENTS: The person will be offered up to Rs. 7 Lakhs as its CTC. Higher package for
deserving candidates
